Distance-dependent activation of Hsp33 activation using the μAPPJ plasma jet. Hsp33 was treated for 30 s with the effluent of the plasma jet, while the distance was varied (0–20 mm). This variation of the distance leads to treatment with different densities of atomic oxygen and ozone. Afterwards, chaperone activity was measured.
