If you log into the system, you see the main screen and the workbench menu on the top (right). After opening your workbench you are able to create datasets and resources. The most natural method is creating a dataset and the corresponding resources within that process.
Add a dataset
During the creation of a dataset and the corresponding resources all metadata information needs to be added. You may modify this draft continuously. At the end, please submit your dataset for review. The work flow editors will be automatically informed by email. After the review process is completed, your dataset will be published. You obtain a notification email.
Entering main metadata for a dataset
The following types of field formats are available:
Adding Resources
Generate ASCII files for the data and PNG files of images. Preferred are .TXT or CSV or XLS files that the user can download and analyse further. Most important, please name the resource field according to the convention below. The resource file can either:
- uploaded directly on the DKAN server
- connected with a link to an external storage site TODO
